Administrative Assistant (part-time)
West Thurston Regional Fire Authority (WTRFA) is looking for a dependable and skilled Administrative Assistant (half-time) to provide support to our Office Manager. This position will greet the public and provide important back-up functionality for critical financial tasks in the department. Records and facility management will also be key support functions provided by this position.
Work hours are 12:00–4:00 PM, M-F (may be flexible; subject to change dependent on department need.) Position is eligible for service credit in the Public Employees’ Retirement System (PERS) and department contributions to the state Deferred Compensation program (in lieu of Social Security contributions). Sick and vacation leave benefits are also provided. The position does not qualify for medical, dental, or vision benefits.
Minimum qualifications are high school diploma or GED certificate, at least one year of fiscal-related work or 15 quarter/10 semester hours of college level accounting.
